Join the Queen’s Jubilee Fancy Dress Parade - Sunday the 5th of June
Head to the Market Place in your finest fancy dress attire (hopefully with a Jubilee theme and colours!), get creative and use your imagination using clothes in your wardrobe and recycled materials.
The parade will pass through the Abbey Grounds and be led off by our very own Town Crier, Canon and Mayor.
Bring your bikes, scooters, wheelchairs, and pushchairs!
Fancy Dress Competitions
1. Best use of recyclable materials
2. Best dressed child
3. Best dressed adult
4. Best use of non fuelled transport
Local refreshments in the Abbey Grounds will also be available.
Prizes will be awarded by the Mayor of Cirencester and include a family ticket to the Corinium Museum, a tote bag of books and a £30 voucher from Octavias, Jessie Smiths food hamper and tickets to the Barn Theatre!
Pebble Hunt and Lucky Dip!
The Parade includes a pebble hunt and a lucky dip for the children (all free, quantities are limited).
