Join Annelise Gray for a talk on what inspired her to write Dido’s story – from National Velvet to Formula One motor racing – and the historical research that went into conjuring up a vivid and authentic portrait of the deadly Roman sport of chariot racing.
Includes a reading from the book and time for Q&A. Annelise will be available to sign copies of her book at Octavia’s Bookshop after the talk.
Adults need a ticket too.
