Cotswold Country Park and Beach
Whether relaxing with friends and family on a sandy beach beside a beautiful swimming lagoon or enjoying activities from water sports to volleyball within mature parkland, the Cotswold Country Park and Beach offers the perfect day out, time after time. There are also many great circular walks around the Cotswold Water Park, varying in distances from 2km.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens
Is Dad as tall as a giraffe, loud as a lion or as chilled as a tortoise? A perfect way to spend the day with the family is to head to Cotswolds Wildlife Park where you can see an array of animals, take a train ride, pay in the park and cool down with an ice cream! LOCAL FAMILY FRIENDLY WALKS
There are some wonderful walks in and around Cirencester from short and easy walks around town, to longer countryside treks through the surrounding villages.
Neigh Bridge Country Park is a particular favourite for families with a buggy-friendly lakeside walk (takes around 40 minutes) and a small playground for youngsters (currently closed due to COVID 19).
Just outside of the Abbey Grounds lies Harebushes Walk; a working wood with an abundance of wildlife to be enjoyed by walkers. The 1-mile circular walk is great for families.
On the outskirts of Cirencester lies Cirencester Amphitheatre. The undulating hills are great for the kids to run up and down and you can also explore the network of paths in the adjacent Querns Wood.
